Hello all, I have a floppy version of this game from probably the mid-90s. I would estimate about 1996 since I was a freshman in high school at the time. Given a don't have a floppy drive, is there a way to get this old version of the game without paying $$$ (technically I have a license with the floppy I paid $15-25 why back then)?
Thanks,
JD

Well, you have yourself a bona fide DOS version of Wall $treet Raider. I'd hang on to it, the old ones might be worth something to a collector someday. If you are adamant about not paying any money, then you can get a trial, demo version of Ver. 5.40 from the author's website, www.roninsoft.com, navigate to the Wall $treet Raider page, and you'll see the links to the demo soon enough. Most of the features are enabled, but you are limited to a 2 year game. That is just about long enough to get addicted once again...so, you might as well ask about your upgrade possibilities. If you pleaded and begged, you'll probably be allowed to upgrade for the reasonable fee of $9.95, though I can't actually promise anything. You might care to visit the active web site. You probably noticed that nobody has written anything here in quite a while. The new site is: www.pcenthusiast.org/wsrforum/index.phpI'm not quite sure why the author keeps the link to this site on his web page. He knows about the new web site. Oh, well! C'mon over and visit the crew!
